About Me

Max Pfeiler is a photographer based in Graz. He discovered his passion for photography in childhood by picking up his father’s camera. During his late teens, his interest evolved into a deeper pursuit of visual language.

In 2023, he enrolled in College for Fine Art Photography & Multimedia Art at Ortweinschule Graz. Since then, his focus has been on high-quality lens-based photography. With attention to detail, he ensures that nothing in his images is left to chance. His preferred output medium is the fine art print, offering a deliberate contrast to the fast-paced digital image. His approach is defined by precise lighting, exact composition, a refined color language, and the attention to small details. Carefully developed concepts are a part of his creative process.

Max Pfeiler works almost exclusively in digital photography, using both digital technical cameras and rigid camera systems. His education continuously exposes him to new aspects of photography. In parallel, he gains practical experience as a production assistant and lighting technician on sets in Graz. He also pursues personal projects in portrait, fashion, commercial and still life photography.
